I’m a newbie here, so I haven’t had all that many questions, but I will answer one question I have gotten at least 2 or 3 times. We’ll start at the very beginning…a very good place to start.

What do you plan on doing with your blog?

Well, I have been taking pictures of my food for as long as I can remember. I have also loved to cook for as long as I can remember. I noticed at a  young age that when I would describe my favorite foods or dishes, I would go into great detail about my food. I would describe the texture or how one flavor went so well with another. Most people would say, “It was great.” I would remember the saltiness of a cheese paired with a sweet fruit or sweet date. Flavors just come alive for me. The mixture of textures and temperatures do the same. 

So, it is a love that started when I was younger. Instagram probably catapulted my love for food + taking pictures of food for me to another level. I started noticing more and more profiles of really beautiful food and I was memorized. Before, I was just using my phone to take snaps of my butternut squash soup. Then, I would get comments in real life where one of my friends or co-workers would say, “Oh my gosh,  your soup looked so good!” Then I started noticing others starting to take pictures of their food, post them AND tag me. That’s when I realized 1) The power of beautiful food 2) The power of influence and 3) People were starting to connect me with their food and tag me in things.

So…. what do I plan on doing with my blog? Take it day by day and enjoy what I’m doing. I want to send out beautiful pictures. I want to make amazing food. If I make a bushel of friends (500,000+) along the way…awesome.  I am continuously learning how the blogging world works. I will soon write a blog about my start up and the challenges I have faced so far in the beginning. Just take it day by day though. More than anything…

It’s about the food. Food is to be marveled. 🙂
